Other than engage in business URCB makes policies on world trade and Provides a forum for intergovernmental consensus-building where all member States interact freely on policy issues concerning trade and development.
URCB will engage in trade with governments, other organisations and the private sector companies to raise capital for the organisation.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
URC facility serves as a counter-guarantee to financiers who provide liquidity for financing projects.
This backs the investment of financial partners such as the European Investment Bank and others.
This facility mobilizes liquid reserves directly from financiers, credit institutions, private and public funding instutions and private investors.
This reserve provides a counter guarantee that in turn enables financiers to make safe investments.
In the event a project does not generate cash flows the counter guarantee is drawn upon to repay the investor.
