For investors with a long investment horizon, UR Charity Bonds are an important, and very secure, basic building block for retirement provision.

Thanks to their constant annual interest payments and the guaranteed repayment at full nominal value at the end of the term, the income that can be achieved with them can be precisely calculated at the time of the investment.

The income is earned monthly, yearly or quarterly through interest rates and the nominal value is paid at the end of the month.

The Universal reserve (UR) can be bought every trading day through any bank or savings bank and kept there in a securities account and, if necessary, also sold again. In principle, there is neither a minimum investment amount nor a maximum investment amount. Credit institutions usually charge fees for the purchase, sale and custody. 

Since URCharity Bonds are traded on the stock exchange, investors can buy and sell them there on every trading day. In this case, however, the price movements during the term must be taken into account.

URCB are always issued at a price close to 100% and paid back at 100% when they mature, but changes in market interest rates usually mean that their stock market price fluctuates a little every day during the term. When buying after issue, they are usually acquired at prices below 100% or above 100%.

A purchase of less than 100% leads to price gains if held until the due date, if a price of more than 100% is purchased, price losses arise.

Price fluctuations after the purchase are only relevant if the URBC are sold before their maturity. Regardless of price movements, URBC offer all investors regular interest income.
